Pricing depends on the awning size, projection, operation type, fixing structure, site access, and installation requirements. As a guide, professionally installed folding-arm retractable awnings may be priced around:
- 2.5m wide x 2m projection — from around $2,800 total price installed, suitable for a small deck, doorway, or compact patio area
- 3.5m wide x 2.5m projection — around $3,100 total price installed, a common size for outdoor living areas, ranch sliders, and everyday deck shade
- 5m wide x 3m projection — from around $4,200 total price installed, better suited to larger decks, patios, and entertaining areas
Motorisation is optional and typically adds around $300 to the awning price, with any electrical wiring arranged separately by the client. A remote control is around $40.
