The reputable blind fabric suppliers I use say the following: Surface dust or dirt should be removed with a duster, wet wipe, or soft lint free cloth. Wipe clean with warm soapy water, a mild detergent, and a damp cloth. Dry with a clean lint free cloth
Never use abrasive products like 'JIF', solvents, or industrial or bleach based cleaners. Do not roll the blackout blind fabric up while it is still damp. Sometimes gently rubbing a pencil eraser over some marks can work if the mark did not come off with the wet wipes or damp cloth
